Project Overview

This project is a series of short-form documentary portraits produced for Marjinal Fayda. The objective was to explore cultural identity and human experience through character-driven narratives, specifically engineered for high retention on digital platforms.

The Strategic Solution

To move beyond traditional documentary formats and capture immediate audience attention, I designed a hybrid production pipeline. By blending classical cinematography with Generative AI tools (Google Veo 3, Nano Banana Pro), I visually reconstructed the subjects' memories and abstract thoughts. This approach transformed standard interviews into dynamic, visually engaging storytelling assets optimized for the algorithm.

Impact & Results

The series demonstrated how high-fidelity storytelling dictates algorithmic success. Peaking at over a million organic views and driving tens of thousands of active interactions, the content moved beyond passive consumption to build genuine audience connection. More importantly, this hybrid visual strategy established a consistently high-performing baseline—maintaining hundreds of thousands of views across the board—proving that authentic human narratives can be systematically engineered for global scale.
